Welcome to Memories of Mohn
Hello, we are the Mohn family consisting of Anne, Martin, and little Ezrah.
We are a regular little family living in Denmark but we love to travel and experience the great big world. Our joint desire to travel began when we went on our honeymoon to Bali in 2018. Since our first adventure together, our desire to travel has only blossomed, and now calls for family travels instead.
Traveling with kids
In 2021, a new member of Team M arrived. He has made everything far more challenging but nonetheless more magical. When it is possible, the course is set toward distant shores, whether that be to the southern sun, a drive down Europe, or to cold skies is not that important.
Traveling with a baby has forced us to travel in a different way. Slow down, plan more, be more flexible, and prioritize opt-in and opt-out. However, this has not discouraged us.
”How do you plan all your travels?” and “How do you have the energy to travel with a baby?” are questions we are often asked. Therefore, we will also use this blog to try to give some advice that we learn along the way so our mistakes and successes can hopefully be of use for others.
The heart behind Memories of Mohn is to create a safe space where our travel memories can live forever. We hope that our writings can bring a little joy and inspiration to you who read along.

Meet Anne
Hi, I’m Anne! I’m 27 and work as a nurse. My adventurous side really kicked in when I was 18 years old, and now I can’t get enough of exploring our beautiful earth. For years, I have been passionate about taking pictures and I’m particularly inspired when I’m abroad. Now, it is something Martin and I appreciate together. Memories of Mohn is primarily my little project, and I’m the one behind the keyboard.
Meet Martin
Hi, I’m Martin-mus (mouse) as Anne likes to call me and I’m 30 years old. I work as a pedagogue at a school. I’m the IT nerd of the family and I’m in charge of all the technical stuff behind Memories of Mohn. I blame Anne for infecting me with the photo-enthusiasm-bug but also the desire to travel. Occasionally, our drone is sent up in the sky and I’m always the one controlling it.
Meet Ezrah
Hello! Mom and dad call me many names but most of all Ezze, so I guess that’s my real name. I’m 1 years old and, therefore, the newest member of the family. I’m in charge of spreading joy and making sure that mom and dad are never bored. My responsibility is waking everyone in the morning so we don’t miss anything.
